Shockwave therapy and custom orthotics require a Foot, Heel and Lower Limb Pain Assessment first, so we know they are the right answer for you. The assessment is £120 for 60 minutes and includes video gait analysis and Footscan pressure plate analysis. The £375 orthotic fee is in addition to your assessment, so the total is £495, and it covers your 3D scanning, your prescription, your fitting appointment and your review appointment. Children who need support are usually fitted with a high quality off the shelf orthotic rather than a custom device, because growing feet change quickly. A verruca assessment is £30 and includes diagnosis and honest advice on whether Swift is right for you. Swift microwave therapy is £140 per session, and if you start treatment on the day of your assessment the £30 assessment fee comes off that first session. Most people need three to four sessions.

How Nail Surgery Works
Nail surgery starts with an Ingrown Toenail Assessment and Treatment appointment (£60), where your podiatrist examines the nail and treats what can be treated on the day. Many ingrown toenails are settled in that single visit. If the nail keeps coming back and surgery is the right answer, that £60 comes off your surgery price, so the total you pay is £375 rather than £435. You pay £60 at the first appointment and the remaining £315 on the day.
Your fee covers everything. That is the procedure itself under local anaesthetic, all dressings, a follow up appointment two days later to check and redress the toe, and a phone call two weeks after surgery to see how you are getting on. The price shown covers one nail, one side. If more than one side needs treating, your podiatrist will discuss it with you at the assessment before anything goes ahead.
Nail surgery is carried out under local anaesthetic, so you must arrange a lift home and cannot drive yourself.
Payment is by card only.
